Pre-dawn escape from from Montreal enables afternoon arrival on the Gaspe's southern shores. Across the Chaleur Bay lies New Brunswick. My destination is Chaleur Chalets, a private estate overlooking Port Daniel Bay. A few secluded chalets are cloistered in the firs that carpet the 88-acres. Only few steps from my chalet are a beach, and trails along the coast ... to be explored.
