Cordoba is an amazing city, with many and varied layers of historic culture. In a quick 24-hours, I explored charming winding streets, tabernas, churches, and plazas. Its well-known wonders include the Roman bridge, the cathedral, the mosque, and Spain's oldest synagogue. Cordoba is the birthplace of Seneca and Moses Maimonides, as well as a cultural center for horses and guitars. Its art and architecture are outstanding, and the light is magical. One day is not enough! Next time I must spend a week there.
