Day 4 began with a steep ascent to the top of a 350-meter cliff, with switchbacks through tangled cedar forest. From there the trail wound toward the north-west tip of the island, and our destination -- the lighthouse. We caught amazing glimpses of Corvo Island, on this day topped by a giant mushroom cap of cloud.
